Starting from scarcth

i went back tot he drawing board and this time i was determined to make a impact so i made lots of different looking logos in hope one of them would be good enough. We also had a change of name that were more related to G4u because the one we had choosen was also registered.

New Logo Ideas!

Started tweaking the logo before i moved on i was going to show john and sarah some examples

i tweaked the logo alittle keepign the house in it to try win them over but i failed. i took the visuals to the meeting with John hoping for a better response on the logos but yet again he said he didnt like them and the house idea thta is when i decided to scrap that idea and start some new ones. The rest of the meeting went on the database and application program related stuff.

Before the meeting with Sarah

Before we had to go meet Sarah we had a few mins spare to make sure we had everything sorted and knew what we are doing and what we were going to ask her, we were using google docs to share our doc's and add ideas to them we had these printed off and we were ready roll.

Professoinal View

Before the meeting i wanted to make an effort and set a standard with our work so we then have to keep by it mybe allowing us to win who knows? i had all our stuff printed on expensive paper A3 and in color i went on to mounting the logo concepts on a board for a finishing touch at this point i was really confident that they were great.

Preparing for our first meeting

I started looking into garden logos where i gathered some ideas and started with the projects garden logo designing some neat stuff along with seasonal ideas after i had the basic design it was time to start thinking of soem names for the garden centre as thier previous name was taken and registered. We came up with various name and with a team vote we voted for Orchard View but at this point we still didnt do any research on this name none the less we still went ahead with it and i had doen the final draft of the garden logos with that name and various other ones incase they liked those i got help off my teammates for ideas on what to put in the logo and how to have it so it was a real group effort also while i was doing this they were preparing questions for that weeks meeting with Sarah.

Final Draft logos:

Starting The Team Logo

We had all agreed witht he name "DDKK" which was just our intials Dan, Dave, Kay and Kenny. Everyone wanted a shield concept to the logo at first i wasnt to keen but it has grown on me. Why i wasnt to keen was purely because a shield logo kinda reminds me of a schools crest, none the less i created a bunch of logos and process of alimination we came to a conculsion and had our final logo.

Logo style choosen, and the team voted for number 4.
